   ʿafwan, min faḍlik, ʿindī mushkilatun fī hādhā aṭ-ṭabaq.

   ahlan bik, mā hiya al-mushkila?

3. هذه الشوربة باردة وليست ساخنة.

   This soup is cold and not hot.

4. أنا آسف جداً، أعتذر منك.

   anā āsifun jiddan, aʿtadhiru mink.
