1. عفواً، من فضلك، أين محطة القطار؟

   ʿafwan, min faḍlik, ayna maḥaṭṭatu al-qiṭār?

   Excuse me, please, where is the train station?

2. امشِ إلى الأمام، ثم انعطف إلى اليسار.

   imshi ilā al-ʾamām, thumma inʿaṭif ilā al-yasār.

   Walk straight ahead, then turn left.

3. إلى الأمام، ثم انعطف إلى اليسار؟

   ilā al-ʾamām, thumma inʿaṭif ilā al-yasār?

   Straight ahead, then turn left?

4. نعم، هي هناك على اليسار.

   naʿam, hiya hunāka ʿalā al-yasār.

   Yes, it is over there on the left.

5. شكراً لك، مع السلامة.

   shukran lak, maʿa as-salāma.

   Thank you, goodbye.
